Addition and Renovation of Historic Home
Funk & Little, Inc. was asked in 2015 to take on a large renovation project involving a circa 1795/1850 home in Mansfield, CT. This project consisted of replacing all of the mechanical systems, many structural elements, and building an addition to make room for modern living. New England Design was the architectural firm that worked with the owner to provide us with a fantastic set of plans to build from. Dave Little was kept very busy coordinating a veteran team of subcontractors. There were many challenges, as this project's scope was a moving target. Dustan Schlehofer, of Schlehofer Painting, and Tony Armelin, flooring specialist, really did exceptional work to make the final product look appropriate to the period. We would like to thank all parties involved, from owner to subcontractors, for a great opportunity and job.
